Producer of the most popular song of the moment, ‘One Corner’, Peter Morgan Wright known popularly as Mr. Loyalty is crying foul over what he describes as neglect by the ‘One Corner’ hit maker, Patapaa.
According to him, the ‘One Corner’ hit maker has desserted him after his song has gained international recognition.
He described Patapaa as a Selfish ingrate who does not remember what they did for him and the fact that he was recorded for free because he claimed he was poor and could not afford for the studio session.
Mr. Loyalty who is a teacher believes that as an artiste, it is imperative to share your gains with people who supported you in times of want.
He indicated that he is not envious of Patapaa’s feat but is rather demanding for what is due him and the other person who featured on the song to make it a ‘national anthem’ which has even gained international recognition.
He posted “PATAPAA PLEADED FOR ME TO BE PART OF HIS SONGS FREE OF CHARGE AND BY THE GRACE OF GOD THE SONG IS PUTTING MONEY IN HIS POCKET . SO YOU WON’T REMEMBER ME.??”.
He further said “WE WANT ONLY 30% OF THE MONEY HE CHARGES FOR EVERY SHOW HE GOES..THANK YOU GOD”.
“Patapaa must know that we suffered with him at the studio together before one corner song came out …He must reason,” he said.
