The Ghana Education Service (GES) has assured candidates set to write their Basic Education Certificate Examination on Monday June 4, 2018, that they’ll have up to three weeks after the writing of their exams to select their respective Senior High Schools.
According to management of GES, it acknowledges the fact that the students have not been enabled to make selection of their senior high schools till date.
It is normally the case that the students select their schools months ahead of their external examination. It is unclear what has stalled the process.
A statement signed by the Head of Public Relations, GES, Cassandra Twum Ampofo said “Management therefore wishes to assure all candidates that there is no cause for alarm and they should not be distracted by this development. Management wishes all the candidates good luck in their upcoming examinations.”
